Resource Library

Books and reference material are available to members at discounted prices on numerous topics pertaining to the professional housekeeping industry.

In fact, I.E.H.A. has recently released two new additions to their resource library: "Cleaning with Kip Koala" and "Frugalisms: Creative Ideas on Leadership in Facilities and Housekeeping Operations"!!!!

"Cleaning with Kip Koala" is a coloring book that teaches children about germs and the importance of cleaning and hygiene through the story of Kip Koala, who has to stay home from school because he is sick. This must-read for every child is available for $3.99 plus S&H.

“Frugalisms: Creative Ideas on Leadership in Facilities and Housekeeping Operations” is a resource book that contains several years’ worth of writings by Alan Bigger, the “Frugal Housekeeper” columnist for Executive Housekeeping Today. The book is comprised of housekeeping-related articles on floor care, staffing, budgeting, and customer service, among others. This excellent resource for managers and leaders within the housekeeping industry is available for $59.95 plus S&H.

Chapter, district and association meetings provide unmatched networking opportunities to interact with you peers locally and around the world.

Employment Service

Members are eligible to receive a confidential newsletter weekly that contains job openings submitted to I.E.H.A. by companies both domestic and foreign.

Educational Conference & Convention

I.E.H.A. holds an international convention in conjunction with ISSA/INTERCLEAN®-USA annually. The mission is to provide education, training and networking opportunities as well as introduce new technologies in an environment filled with terrific fellowship and fun. Usually 15,000 plus are in attendance since out alliance with ISSA along with 700 or more vendors.
